Venue Spotlight: Goonoo Goonoo Station

News

While most of our work takes us to the picturesque and tranquil Hunter Valley, occasionally we’re lucky enough to be involved in weddings in other (equally stunning!) parts of regional NSW. Goonoo Goonoo Station is on the outskirts of Tamworth, and it is just BREATHTAKING.

Lovely JMFS couple, Taylah and Stu, tied the knot there earlier this year. We’re still swooning over their gorgeous photos.

Goonoo Goonoo Station looks and feels much like a cosy 19th century village – despite its vast size. It boasts expansive and perfectly manicured gardens, ample onsite accommodation, an award-winning restaurant that oozes romance, and the only three gable Woolstore in Australia. All of these have been lovingly restored, and continue to offer newlyweds endless possiblilities when it comes to adding floral and styling elements to their celebrations.

Ceremony locations

Taylah and Stu got married in Goonoo Goonoo Station’s beautiful chapel, which was built in 1890. The venue’s extensive parkland also provides a dreamy backdrop to heartfelt ‘I dos.’

Reception locations

As you’ll see in photos from Taylah and Stu’s understated and elegant wedding reception below, Goonoo Goonoo Station’s Woolstore is the quintessential country escape. It’s rustic, spacious, and incredibly charming whether pared back or heavily styled.

We can’t wait to experience another wedding at this bespoke and luxurious venue.
