The timeless charm of black and white

News

Admittedly, we can be a little biased when it comes to appreciating certain elements of wedding styling – flowers, candles, napery… just to name a few! It would be remiss not to start Bree and Nathan’s beautiful love story without first mentioning a particularly memorable pair of black Jimmy Choos. THESE. WERE. EVERYTHING. They deserve a blog post all of their own, to be honest! They also complemented the couple’s vision for the day perfectly.

The newlyweds wanted romantic, classic, and simple – but with a bit of an edge. Timeless, with a twist.

Everyone here at Jade McIntosh Flowers & Styling is still swooning over these Aveline Bow heels. Just stunning!

Now back to our regular programming…

Bree and Nathan’s flowers made such an impact too. We especially loved the bridal party’s bouquets – masses of reflexed ivory roses will never go out of style! Their ceremony arch was equally striking, featuring fluffy, full-headed dahlias, carnations, delphiniums, and a couple of delicate and very luxurious phalaenopsis orchids. It was a sea of white and it was so dreamy.

These two met in high school and have been head-over-Jimmy Choos for each other for almost 18 years. The photos say it all, really! They’re just the loveliest and warmest people, and we feel privileged to have been a part of their wedding at White Barn in February.

A huge congratulations to Bree & Nathan x
