Bouquet breakdown: Ivana + Jahahn

News
Ever since Ivana and Jahahn’s jaw-droppingly beautiful wedding in April (which graced the cover of the Hunter Valley Wedding Planner), we have been INUNDATED with requests for more info about their florals – and it’s not hard to see why! This boho theme was just magical, and was carried through from the couple’s sunny outdoor ceremony to a lavish marquee reception at dusk. The warm, earthy colour palette was perfectly balanced too, as was the entire day. There were laughs, happy tears and so much love floating around at Fernbank Farm.

Below we’ve done an ingredient breakdown of Ivana’s dreamy bouquet. We know you love it just as much as we did!

It’s difficult to pick just one hero of Ivana’s bouquet. We think what makes her floral arrangement so special and memorable is perhaps the fact that there was no single focal point – every element was carefully chosen to complement the others. Delicate apple tea carnations and a sole phalaenopsis orchid stem in the softest blush tint really popped next to Ivana’s gorgeous bridesmaids’ walnut-hued gowns.

Ah, the roses! Long-stemmed and in tones ranging from sandy beige and creamy caramel to shimmery pale peach, these classic inclusions added volume and a rustic elegance to the bouquet.

The giant ruffles of these reflexed Colombian roses were complimented by lots of dried textured foliage. Pampas grass and bracken fern added a startling contrast to Ivana’s gentle sunset floral shades as well.

And what would a show-stopping, autumn-inspired bouquet be without some crisp white flowers? Incomplete, we believe. Roses and dainty thryptomene were the perfect finishing touch!
