Bouquet breakdown: Clare + Dane

News

We fell head-over-heels in love with Clare & Dane’s floral vision for their big day at Peppers Creek in 2019. It was just beautiful – the quintessential neutral colour palette with dark foliage for a romantic and elegant wedding. If you’re after something similarly special that will never go out of style, then we suggest taking some inspiration from these simple yet eye-catching bouquets. Trends can be so much fun to play with but they do come and go – clean tones and classic roses are timeless.

Soft nudes and whites were complimented by the gentlest hint of peach in Clare’s medium organic-style bouquet, and brought out the champagne and subtle rust tones of her bridesmaids’ dresses. Striking forest green, black and deep burgundy leaves were the perfect finishing touch.

Reflexed Colombian quicksand and sahara roses also featured in each of the bouquets. They’re very luxurious and much-sought after by brides, with sandy cream petals and faint berry-coloured tips.

These were not to be outdone, however, by a single white phalaenopsis orchid. Just one in Clare’s bridal bouquet was enough to steal the show and make her florals truly exquisite.

Equal quantities of lush, purply-red after dark foliage (above), magnolia and large anthurium leaves that we sprayed black (both below) completed Clare & Dane’s dreamy vision. They added texture, a little drama and loads of contrast too!
